SMA Group Invested in Inverter Production in the U.S.A.

Core Tip: SMA Group has signed an agreement on plant construction, which was declared by SMA "the nation's largest photovoltaic inverter manufacturing plant". The annual capacity of this plant is approximately 1GW. It planed to put into production in mid 2010 and the estimated investment was about 15 million U.S. dollars. The new SMA United States plant will produce new products supplying for the North American market, whose product series are the Sunny Boy, Sunny Central and Sunny Island.
